 Gremino has just launched his Defender Of Rhythm E.P., which is an independant CDR release limited to 100x copies world-wide. With influences from Oldskool Chicago House and Acid House, but with complicated 4/4 kick rhythms more akin to DnB and Dubstep, this is certainly one for the heads who will appreciate the deeper, darker and ultimately more experimental nature of this six track release.  Although it'd be difficult to to pin down an exact date, both Nu-Rave and Dubstep were conceptualised around the same time and it's great to see both thriving today. Produced at a similar tempo and with a similar ethos, it's only natural that the two start to cross over as we've seen in recent forum mixes and of course Mulder's Cue Burn E.P. and Aems' Samurai Dread. In light of this we've taken on a limited selection of some of the best Dubstep releases in our shop! |
